List of Documents Required For Fresh Passport Minor
Any individual under the age of 18 considered to be a minor. They have a separate checklist for applying for a passport.Given below is the list of documents required to apply for a fresh passport for minor or students in India.
- Birth Proof – Birth Certificate
- Residence proof
Parent: Aadhar card, Bank passbook, voter id, driving license ( Any 2 document)
Minor: Aadhar card - A Declaration affirming the particulars furnished in the application about the minor as per: Annexure ‘D’
- Original and self-attested copies of parent’s passport
- School study certificate & School ID card
- Two Reference -Name, Address & Phone no
- Local Area Police Station Name
- Until the minor is 18 years old, he/she will be eligible for Non-ECR passport wherein Immigration check is not required
Reissue/ Renewal for Minor
An individual who is under the age of 18 is considered to be minor, and the same procedures will be followed to apply for a passport as like for Adult.
