OCI Eligibility
OCI card can be availed to those whose parents/ancestors are the origin of India or Spouse of Indian National. Only for such case, OCI can be applied.
NOTE:
Those who have or ever been a citizen of Pakistan or Bangladesh are not eligible for applying/registration as an Overseas Citizen of India.
A minor child whose one of the parent belong to Pakistan or Bangladesh nation and the other parent eligible for OCI, will not be granted OCI.

- 3 passport size photo as per the specification
- Applicant’s id proof (Adhaar)
- Applicant’s Indian Visa copy validity minimum of 6 months

All documents are to be submitted in original with one set of self-attested photocopies.

- Printed acknowledgment application receipt
- Printout of online status report
- Foreign passport in original
- PIO card holders should submit original PIO card for cancellation.
OCI Application Process
OCI application is done fully through online. Online application form will be filled by us and we will guide you about the necessary documents and formalities. We will check the completeness of documents before the submission in FRRO office. We will assist you in the online application and get an appointment. With all the required documents and printed online application form, the applicant has to take DD of 15000 INR. The applicant has to submit the required documents and application form in person to FRRO office. Once submitted, the process will take two to three months to get the OCI card.
