Those who come from Bangalore, they can either come to Chennai Airport and take a bus or taxi to reach Pondicherry from Chennai Airport or they can take a direct train from Bangalore and reach Pondicherry Railway station. The first day of the tour starts by visiting Manakula Vinayaga Temple which has a cute elephant named as Lakshmi to bless us. With her blessing, the next visit will be to Bharathi Park which has an iconic building called as Aayi Mandapam. This park is neat and clean and you can relax or stroll inside the park to admire the beauty of the park and you can also take some good photo shoot with beautiful background. You can have your lunch in the nearby French or Indian restaurant. Later by evening, you will be taken to Promenade Beach where the sunset is a visual treat. Overnight stay at Hotel.
This morning after breakfast, visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram where you can have a peace of mind as the place is very calm and silent. Your next visit will be to Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Cathedral Churches which are the oldest church in Pondicherry. They are built during the 18th century and has Neo Gothic style of architecture. After your lunch, we will proceed to Chunnambar Boat House and Auroville. In Chunambar Boat House, you can take a boat to Paradise Beach, which is a place to enjoy with friends and family and your next stop will be at Auroville, which is a unique destination and one must not miss visiting the place. After your breakfast at the hotel do the shopping at Pondicherry at Jawaharlal Nehru Street which is famous for shopping. Later start towards your home town with sweet memories of French Colony.
