After a delicious breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Agra. The imperial headquarters of the Mughal Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries, Agra flourished under the patronage of wealthy rulers, who made it a thriving center for art, commerce, and culture. Artisans from distant lands brought their distinct styles to the city, flooding it with palaces, mosques, forts, and tombs. Visit the Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. The construction is dominated by red -sandstone and houses the beautiful pearly mosque. Visit Itmadullah’s Tomb known as the Baby Taj Mahal. After breakfast at the hotel, do the sightseeing of Jaipur for the full day. Your first visit will be to Amber Fort. You can be like a maharaja for a day as you ride an elephant up the hill to the Amber Fort. Behind the robust honey -colored ramparts of this fort are some architectural marvels. The small Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Mirrors has many tiny mirror pieces embedded in its ceiling and walls which transform the chamber into a glittering night sky when ignited by a single candle light. After lunch, continue sightseeing of Jaipur city. Visit the City Palace -the private residence of former Maharaja Bhawani Singh of Jaipur and his family where part of the palace is open to the public and has a museum with a very impressive armory. Visit the adjacent Observatory known as `Jantar Mantar’ built by the Maharaja of Jaipur’s grandfather who had a passion for astronomy. Visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) -a five-story façade which overlooks the walled city’s main thoroughfare and is built in quaint pink sand -stone and is studded with 953 little windows and was used for the ladies of the royal household to sit and watch local people and their activities. This morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Delhi Airport / Jaipur Airport for your flight back home
